Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced, Permanent Full Time Ward Receptionist to join a newly-created Ward at the Wesley Hospital!

 

Remuneration Value: $25.56-$27.22 p/hour + Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties/Allowances + Discounted Onsite Staff Parking

Your Role:

 

As a Ward Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administration support to your unit. Liaising with a wide range of health professionals, patients and visitors, you will display excellent communication and organisational skills and a commitment to integrity and confidentiality when dealing with personal information.

 

You will need:

  • Previous experience working within a healthcare/hospital environment
  • Sound administration and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, with conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and work unsupervised, quickly and efficiently
  • Experience using Cerner and/or other medical administration software
  • Adaptability and flexibility to support across other wards as required
