Position Summary

We’re seeking a Volunteer Coordinator/Office Manager to join our Team at The Wesley Hospital in a permanent, full-time position.

 

Remuneration Value: $32.22 - $33.05 p/h (FTE $63,676 - $65,307) + Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties/Allowances + Discounted Onsite Parking

Our Volunteer Department is committed to providing hospital support services and compassionate support and care to patients. Our volunteers come from diverse backgrounds and bring a range of skills to enhance the overall patient experience.

 

The Role:

 

Working as the Volunteer Coordinator, you will supervise, coordinate and maintain volunteer programs, rosters and services for the Wesley Hospital. You will also be responsible undertaking office management including; maintaining database records, providing reports on volunteer activities and training, arranging service/equipment repairs, answering email queries and other administrative duties.

 

To be successful, you will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

 

Essential:

  • Certificate level qualification or above in office administration, or equivalent experience
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills
  • Experience in creating and maintaining rosters, file management and monitoring work flows
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify and appreciate the strengths of people in diverse groups to positively and thoughtfully motivate
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience using volunteer management systems, e.g. Better Impact

Desirable:

  • Demonstrated experience with developing, co-facilitating and evaluating training
  • Previous hospital administration experience
  • Experience organising volunteer activities
