Position Summary

Employment Status: Permanent Part Time – 32 hours per week

Location: St Andrews War Memorial Hospital

Classification: Enrolled Nurse   

Remuneration Value: $30.47 - $34.11 p/h (FTE $60, 208 - $67, 401), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.

 

St Andrews War Memorial Hospital are inviting applications from experienced Enrolled Nurses to apply for a permanent part time opportunity in their Cardiothorocic Unit!

You will accountable for the provision of safe, holistic nursing care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating effectively to deliver exceptional person-centred care.

 

You will demonstrate our values, and a commitment to delivering person-centred care. You will have:

  • Minimum 3+ years post graduate experience in Cardiothoracic or Surgical
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to work flexible roster

Selection Criteria Essential: Three years post graduate nursing experience
Not Essential: cardiothoracic and or surgical experience
Essential: Do you have current and unconditional AHPRA registration?
Essential: Are you an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or New Zealand passport holder?
