2024 Graduate Registered Nurse Program | St Stephen's Hospital

 

  • Employment Term: Part Time Fixed Term 12 months (0.8 FTE)

  • Remuneration: $40.45 phr + 11% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

We provide a comprehensive range of inpatient medical, surgical and rehabilitation services including Cardiac and Cancer Care, Urology, Bariatric, Gynaecology, Respiratory, Haematology, Orthopaedics, Cardiovascular, Endoscopy and Vascular and general surgery. We’re committed to re-investing surplus funds for the development of our hospital, services and employees; creating facilities that utilise leading edge technology and staffed by leaders in their field.

 

About our Program:

 

As a St Stephen's Graduate, you will have the opportunity to work as part of Australia’s first fully-integrated digital environment that is re-defining the way healthcare is delivered. We are the only not-for-profit private hospital service on the Fraser Coast, offering you the opportunity to work alongside a team of seasoned professionals - highly experienced and skilled in delivering the utmost quality in person-centred care.

 

Over the course of your 12-month program, we offer you the opportunity to consolidate your skills in several specialities; broadening your experience and setting you up for success!  

 

Our Graduates will be offered a 64-hour fortnight (32 hours p/week) 12 month fixed term contracts with the opportunity for permanent on successful completion

To be eligible to apply, you will need:

  • - To have completed your Bachelor of Nursing between June 2023 and June 2024
  • - To hold registration with AHPRA by 31 July 2024
  • - Flexibility to work a full rotating roster (in a part-time 0.8 position)
  • - Be available to commence in the program In August 2024
