Position Summary |

As a result of this transformation, we are seeking an experience Business Performance Manager – Regional and Remote - to join our team, and drive performance analysis and business insight to the Executive and Senior Leadership teams.
A key partner to our Regional and Remote business, you will see significant interactions with Executives and Senior Leadership around the analysis and financial performance of their business units, and the monitoring of their delivery to strategic goals and financial business targets. You will provide sound commercial and operational advice and represent a key value-add in decision making to enhance business performance.
Your role will see you:
- Undertaking significant in-depth financial analysis and recommendations for Executive and Senior leaders within our Regional and Remote division
- Work closely with Senior Leadership to identify efficiencies, emerging trends, income opportunities and business action plans
- Accountable for Group Executive Monthly Performance Reports and the development of targeted performance strategies
- Leading the analysis of previous performance and future forecasting, including planning, budgeting and reforecasting activities
- Supporting the provision of systematic multi-faceted performance analysis for the service stream
- Developing and maintaining financial/non-financial models for key business drivers to facilitate improved financial performance and promote decision making (on UCQ Finance agreed platforms).
- Identify business processes that require improvement, remediation and pathways to more effective commercial management practices.
As an experienced performance analyst, you will present with exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to confidently manage executive level conversations and presentations to stakeholders across large geographical areas
With an ability to clearly manage conflicting priorities, you will confidently navigate through the challenges of a multi-faceted business undergoing significant transformation, and be comfortable in managing internal expectations within a changing environment.
Your experience has equipped you with extensive knowledge of performance analysis, as well as the ability to clearly articulate and present opportunities for business improvements to all levels of management within an organisation.
Ideally, you will present with
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, business or a related field with a minimum 8-10 years in experience as a Senior Performance Analyst or strategic role focused on business analysis and improvements in a medium to large organisation
- Highly developed analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills, including comprehensive financial and statistical analysis skills
- Strong business process modelling and analysis capability and experience
- Experience in business finance analysis to support multifaceted business cases and issues.
- Extensive use and development of CPM and business intelligence tools including large ERP system utilisation
- Advanced understanding of financial statement relationships
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Aged Care, Aged Care Funding, benchmarking and productivity drivers.
While not essential, experience in positively impacting the financial/non-financial performance of a community, residential care or disability business wold be highly desirable
