Remuneration Value: $37.00-$45.47 p/h (FTE $73, 112 - $89, 848), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 25% casual loading

 

$47.62-$51.42 p/h (FTE $94, 097 - $101, 611), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 25% casual loading

 

The Wesley Hospital is inviting experienced Dietitians to join their Allied Health Team in a casual position!

 

The Wesley Hospital is one of Australia’s iconic and largest private not-for-profit hospitals. From the heart of Brisbane more than 800 Visiting Medical Practitioners and 2, 000 staff deliver personalised care through life’s journey for generations of Queenslanders.

Our Metro Allied Health team delivers best practice, multi-disciplinary services to our patients in The Wesley and St Andrews, through Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and more.

 


People caring for people:

 

As an experienced clinician you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of Clinical Practice, Leadership, Clinical Governance and Workload Management. You will present with:

 

  • Minimum 3 or more years post graduate experience with a high level of clinical knowledge, expertise and skills in a comparable (acute hospital and/or ambulatory service) setting
  • Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institute
  • Ability to deliver a high level of clinical reasoning and decision making that is based on current best practice
  • Organisational skills and ability to manage a more complex and variable caseload
  • Sound level of interpersonal and written communication skills and interdisciplinary teamwork
  • Knowledge of and application of Nutrition Care Process Terminology

Selection Criteria Essential: Tertiary Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institution
Essential: Current Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status with the Dietitians Association of Australia
Essential: Must hold or be eligible to hold a current Blue Card
Essential: Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of clinical reasoning and decision making that is based on current best practice
Essential: Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage a more complex and variable caseload
Essential: Demonstrated sound level of interpersonal and written communication skills and interdisciplinary teamwork
