With 524 beds, The Wesley Hospital provides tertiary level medical and surgical services across 30 specialty areas including cardiology, urology, neurosurgery, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, maternity and women’s health. These services are supported by an intensive care unit, coronary care unit, cardiac catheter theatres, 24-hour emergency centre, renal dialysis, radiology, radiation therapy, pathology, pharmacy services, IVF, haematology and oncology services.
The Cadiac Catheter Theatre is seeking several Registered Nurses to join their team in a Permanent Part-Time capacity. As a Registered Nurse you will be accountable for:
- Delivery of safe, holistic nursing care to patients and their families
- Applying clinical practice which ensures a safe environment and promotes optimal patient outcomes;
- Effectively communicating information regarding patient responses and care to the nursing team;
- Utilising customer service principles to exceed patient expectations
- Applying principles of clinical and workplace risk management
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Minimum of 1 year experience within Cardiac Catheter Theatre
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient and family centred care using best practice
- The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team with effective interpersonal communication skills
- Commitment to professional development
