We are currently inviting internal applications for an exciting career development opportunity within the Education team, in the role of Clinical Facilitator – Medical and Rehabilitation (wards 2A &3A).


Your Role:


We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver education across our medical and rehabilitation teams. As an enthusiastic and experienced nurse, your passion for these areas is evident in your desire to impart knowledge and skills to your peers.


The role will see you make a significant contribution to the clinical education of staff and you will be responsible and accountable for:

  • Planning, facilitating and evaluating the progressive learning and development of clinical educational requirements; and   
  • Application and implementation of evidence-based nursing best practice within the workplace.

You will become an integral part of an experienced team of Clinical facilitators and Clinical Nurse Educators, who are lead and supported by the Education Manager. This team of professionals strives to achieve the best learning outcomes for all staff by working collaboratively to create an open and supportive learning environment.


This is a permanent part time opportunity, working 8 hours p/week.


Your Background:


To be successful in this position, you will,

  • Demonstrate a passion for clinical teaching and education
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to a diverse range of individuals
  • Ability to work both autonomously and effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Advanced clinical reasoning and problem solving skills
  • Be an experienced Registered Nurse with at least 3 years clinical experience;
  • Have completed or willingness to undertake:
    • Preceptor program;
    • Certificate IV (Workplace training and assessment); and
    • Post graduate clinical or education qualification.
