Remuneration Value: Level 3 Position, $47.62-$51.42 p/h (FTE $94, 097 - $101, 611), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging 

 

We are currently seeking an experienced Cardiac Scientist to join the team at St Andrews War Memorial Cath Lab facility in a contract through to September 2020.

People caring for people:

In this role, you will work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary Cath Lab team, applying your clinical knowledge in a range of clinical procedures including: cardiac catheterisation, coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions, electrophysiology, and cardiac rhythm device therapy.

This is a part-time role required to work 32 hours per week on a fixed-term contract through to September 2020.

As an experienced Cardiac Scientist you will demonstrate:

 

  • Bachelor of Applied Science, with strong human physiology component
  • Experience in diagnostic cardiac catheterisation, coronary angiography and percutaneous coronary intervention procedures;
  • Post-Graduate clinical experience in a cardiovascular suite performing haemodynamic monitoring
  • Post-graduate clinical experience in cardiac electrophysiology & cardiac rhythm device therapy implant procedures is not essential, but highly desirable
  • Desire to actively participate in ongoing professional development where required
