Position Summary

We’re seeking a Ward Receptionist to join our team at The Wesley Hospital in a permanent, part-time position.

 

Remuneration Value: $25.57 - $27.22 (FTE $50,524 - $53,793) + Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties/Allowances + Discounted Onsite Parking

The Role:

 

Joining our Orthopaedics Ward as a Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administration support. Liaising with a wide range of health professionals, patients and visitors, you will display excellent communication and organisational skills and a commitment to integrity and confidentiality when dealing with personal information.

 

A permanent, part-time position (32 hours per fortnight), we’re seeking those with the availability to work the following roster:

  • Week 1      Friday 8hrs and Saturday Morning 4hrs
  • Week 2      Thursday 8 hrs, Friday 8hrs and Saturday Morning 4hrs

To be successful, you will also demonstrate:

  • Previous experience working within a healthcare/hospital environment
  • Sound administration and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, with conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and work unsupervised, quickly and efficiently
  • Experience using Cerner and/or other medical administration software
