Position Summary

Employment Status – Permanent Part Time (25 hours p/week)

Location – Allied Health Day Rehab, The Wesley Hospital

Classification – Registered Nurse – Level 2

Remuneration Value: Level 2 position, $44.14-$47.29 p/h (FTE $87, 220 - $93, 445), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.  


The Wesley are currently inviting Clinical Nurses experienced in Pain/Chronic Disease Management to join our Allied Health Team’s Pain Management Program.


People caring for people:


You will be accountable for the provision of safe, holistic nursing care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes.


You will assisting the Pain Management Program co-ordinator in the co-ordination of the Pain Management Program, from point of referral to discharge, whilst providing clinical Nursing support to all patients within the program.


You’ll demonstrate a commitment to person-centred care through exceptional communication, customer service skills and an ability to work effectively within a team. Your experience has provided you a solid clinical foundation in Chronic Disease and Pain Management and you present with: 

  • 5+ years relevant acute experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of private health funds
  • Exceptional time-management and coordination skills
  • Current Registration with AHPRA / Full Australian Working Entitlements

This role requires part time availability across a full week (Monday – Friday)

Selection Criteria Essential: Bachelor of Nursing with AHPRA registration
Not Essential: Relevant experience in the area of pain and / or chronic disease management
