Employment Status: Fixed Term, Part-Time
Location: Emergency, St Andrews War Memorial Hospital
Classification: Registered Nurse – Level 2
Remuneration Value: $47.53 - $50.92 p/h (FTE $93, 919 - $100,618), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.
St Andrews War Memorial Hospital are inviting internal applications for the role of Clinical Nurse – Emergency for a Fixed Term, Part-Time position.

About the Role:
As an experienced Clinical Nurse at the St Andrews War Memorial Hospital, you will be responsible for delivery of safe, holistic nursing care and supervise/support Registered, Enrolled and Assistants in Nursing within the Emergency Department.
The successful candidate will present with:
- Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum of 2 years experience in emergency setting
- Commitment to quality improvement and participation in quality improvement projects
- Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to other Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within the multidisciplinary team., patients and other stakeholders
This position will be employed in an acting capacity on a 5 month contract, required to work a base roster of 30 hours per week.
