Health Information supports the administration of our patients receiving care across a wide range of services including Emergency, Maternity, Intensive Care, Cardiovascular, Vascular, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Surgery, Urology, Cancer Care, General Medicine, Renal and Respiratory Services, Mental Health, Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, Orthopaedic, Rehabilitation, and much more.

 

Your Role:

 

We’re seeking a motivated and professional Clinical Coder to bring a high level of knowledge and practical experience to the team! As part of the team at Buderim Private, you will code against a range of specialties, applying your skills with private health funds across a range of disciplines, to ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

 

Ideally you will demonstrate:

  • 5 years’ experience in a coding role
  • Qualifications and experience in ICD10-AM coding;
  • High level of knowledge in medical terminology;
  • Effective communication skills; Flexibility and enthusiasm;
  • Outstanding time management skills;
  • The ability to work independently or within a team.

Remuneration Value: A competitive hourly rate commensurate with your experience will apply. In addition you will receive 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging.
