We are currently seeking a highly effective Business Process Analyst for a 6 month contract. The purpose of this role is to analyse business needs and functions, document existing and planned business processes, and to assist in solving business problems.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

Listed are the core common functions and responsibilities for most assignments to projects. Specific responsibilities may be added or varied on assignment to projects.

  • Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.
  • Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals
  • Modelling Business Processes, using relevant Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN).
  • Develop/contribute to feasibility studies/ business cases and roadmaps.
  • Develop Business Requirement Specifications as input to ICT systems development projects.
  • Make enhancements to Procura to optimise business process efficiencies, if required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a business analyst role.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Strong business process modelling and analysis capability and experience.
  • Extensive scheduling background and change agent capability.
  • "Hands-on" experience in requirements gathering for complex projects, including conduct of workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and knowledge of current business processes, utilising excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the BA Body of Knowledge (BABOK) or similar standards.
  • Demonstrable strength in requirements development and documentation.
  • Data analysis and manipulation in graphical charting presentation products.
