On Offer:
We are currently inviting applications for a Casual Dietitian to join our Metro Allied Health team, based at Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower. A diverse role, you will:
- Provide a high level of Medical Nutrition Therapy knowledge and skills across multiple clinical areas, ensuring excellence and compliance in the provision of services
- Provide clinical practice development and training opportunities to less experienced Allied Health Staff, assistants and students
- Contribute to service delivery, quality improvement or assurance projects and systems for the Allied Health services provided to patients and their families
- Contribute to the ongoing development of Allied Health services across the area
- Maintain a clinical caseload to stay in touch with service delivery
As a Level 3 role, this position will pay between $47.62 - $51.42 p/hour + Super + Casual Allowances based on experience.
About You:
As an experienced practitioner, you’ll demonstrate a commitment to delivering person-centred, empathetic care through customer service and our values. You will present with:
- Minimum of 3 or more years post graduate experience
- Tertiary Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from recognised institute
- Current Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) status with the DAA
- Knowledge and application of Nutrition Care Process Terminology
- An ability to effectively within multidisciplinary environment managing a complex and variable caseload
