The Wesley Hospital is inviting Nutrition Assistants to apply for a casual opportunity in their Allied Health team!

Our Metro Allied Health team delivers best practice, multi-disciplinary services to our patients in The Wesley and St Andrews, through Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and more.
People caring for people:
As a Nutrition Assistant, you will ensure the professional and effective delivery of appropriate medical nutrition therapy (MNT) through:
- Ensuring patients on MNT are given an appropriate menu
- Collecting and checking menus and reinforcing MNT requirements with patients.
- Updating Cerner Diet Reports
- Liaising with nursing, food service, ward reception and dietetic staff
You will present with:
- Bachelor of Health Science Nutrition or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution
- Certificate 4 in Allies Health Assistance in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an allied health assistant
- Organisation skills and the ability to manage a busy workload to meet deadlines
- Sound level of interpersonal and written communication skills and interdisciplinary teamwork
