We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery Wards at St Andrews War Memorial.

About You:
As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide advanced management, professional leadership and operational direction for the Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery services. You will ensure exceptional delivery of patient-centred care, through high quality clinical service outcomes.
A diverse role, you will:
- Achieve optimal patient outcomes and objectives through effective leadership and direction
- Build a cooperative working environment between members of a multi-disciplinary team, applying your communication and team leadership skills in building a high functioning and outcome focused unit.
- Manage performance related conversations with team members, including opportunities for development, learning, and improvement.
- Maintain professional standards of practice through the evaluation of services and through applying key management strategies
- Effectively manage procurement and allocation of resources, including recruitment and budgeting to achieve optimal service objectives
As an experienced Clinician, you will demonstrate:
- Passion for your speciality area, and the provision of exceptional patient centred care
- 5 years recent clinical expertise and skills in the areas of Orthopaedic surgery and neurosurgery
- Ability to lead a time in the provision of comprehensive patient centred care that is evidence based
- High level interpersonal and communication skills
- Expertise and skills in managing a cost centre budget and human resource management
- Post Graduate qualification in management or speciality field
- Demonstrate commitment to quality improvement.
