The St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital, Food Services team, is seeking expressions of interest from current employees for the following role –

• Patient Services Assistant - Food Service Delivery Supervisor
• Part-time (18 hours per week)

The position reports to the Head Chef and is responsible for undertaking and supervising duties associated with food preparation, meal assembly, delivery and distribution, cleaning, recycling and waste disposal. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a supervisory position.

To perform the duties of this role you will need to:

• Experience of high volume catering in a health environment;
• Knowlege of hygiene and health and safety regulations;
• Knowledge of HACCP based food safety system;
• Demonstrated ability to perform food preparation, presentation and service to required standards;
• Ability to manage varying workloads;
• Ability to communicate effectively and work productively a an individual and as a team member of a multi-disciplinary team.
