The St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital, Food Services team is seeking an Expression of Interest from current employees for the following role –

• Chef
• Part Time -20 Hours per week

The position reports to Keith Munt and is responsible for the smooth-running of all services within the department on any give shift and is responsible for overseeing the daily duties of the food services staff.

To perform the duties of this role you will need to:

• Minimum five years proven industry experience as a chef
• Hold formal professional cookery certificates
• Adheres to WPH&S, Food Safety HACCP Control polices and procedures, processes and policies including manual handling, storage and safe use of chemicals.
• Ability to communicate effectively and take direction
• Availability to work shifts over 7 days as per roster
• Proven time management ability
• Willingness to undertake any relevant training in relation to the role
• Demonstrated ability to work individually or in a team environment and with a good understanding of Living Values
