Position Summary

UnitingCare Health is one of the largest not-for-profit private hospital groups in Queensland and is a service group of UnitingCare Queensland. The hospital group is a major provider of healthcare services in Queensland which operates almost 1000 licensed hospital beds and employs over 4200 people.

 

We have an opportunity for a Resident Medical Officer to join our Acute Medical team at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital

 

This role is being offered as a Permanent Full time opportunity, based at our inner-city facility in Spring Hill 

 

The successful applicant will join a dynamic team, complimented by an experienced, multi-disciplinary nursing team. The successful applicant will be a Registered Medical Practitioner with special interest and experience in high dependency care and will demonstrate:

  • Recent experience with acute hospital care
  • Ability to build rapport and effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • A strong commitment to customer service and quality outcomes;
  • Clinical performance aligned with the organisation’s values;
  • Flexibility in working hours.

You will have previous experience within Coronary Care, Intensive Care or High Dependency environments, and professionally present with:

  • Registration with AHPRA and Medical Board of Queensland 
  • Current professional indemnity insurance
  • Registered under the Medicare Agreement and possess their own provider number;
