Position Summary

  • Full Time – 38 Hours per week

The Executive team are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Assistant to join their team. Responsible for providing confidential, high quality administrative support to the General Manager, this role plays a key role in the organisation of the hospital Executive team. 

 

Ideally, the successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria: 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing the administration of a busy executive office including minute taking, filing, arranging meetings, appointments and travel and maintaining electronic diaries;
  • Demonstrated experience working in a medical environment (e.g. medical practice, etc.), desirable;
  • Computer literacy skills at an advanced level, including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, with excellent numeracy and data entry skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of hospital staff;
  • Ability to handle all levels of enquiries with efficiency, tact and discretion and initiate appropriate actions as required;
  • Proved ability to meet deadlines, set priorities and work on multiple tasks;
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment;
  • General accounting and bookkeeping skills an advantage.
