Remuneration Value:  $24.43 - $26.22 p/hour + 9.5% employee contribution to super + 23% casual loading


The Wesley Hospital are inviting applications Customer Service Attendants to join their team on a casual basis.

About the role:

As a Customer Services Attendant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Efficient delivery of patient meals and beverages to the different wards within the hospital including the collection of meal trays and other customer service activities
  • Ensure patients recieve appropriate menu orders in line with dietary requirements
  • Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and service throughout the Food Services Department;
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of HACCP principles in accordance with the Wesley food safety program;
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of PPE requirements and safety procedures

You’ll demonstrate a passion for customer service, and recognise the importance your role plays in providing an exceptional patient experience at The Wesley. You will have previous hospitality, stewarding or kitchen hand experience and be flexible in your availability to work a range of shifts. You will present with:

  • Excellent communication skills and have the ability to work with limited supervision
  • Demonstrate a professional attitude
  • Be fully conversant with all aspects of safe food handling standards
  • Ability to work morning and afternoon shifts across Monday to Sunday
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment is desirable, but not essential
