Position Summary

Employment Status: Permanent Part Time, 8 hours per week

Location: St Andrews War Memorial Hospital

Classification: Registered Nurse – Level 2

Remuneration Value:  $46.37-$49.68 p/h (FTE $91, 627 - $98,167), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave. 

 

St Andrews War Memorial Hospital are inviting applications from experienced Clinical Nurses to apply for a permanent part time opportunity within their Surgical Unit!

People caring for people:

As a Clinical Nurse you will provide exceptional patient care in the areas of your clinical expertise whilst assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns. Based on your experience, you will assist with providing supervision and guidance within a multi-disciplinary team, through effective decision making and support.

 

You’ll demonstrate a passion for customer service and person centred care with:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within Surgical and Medical environment
  • Previous experience coordinating provision of patient centred care with large team
  • Sound leadership skills with an ability to effectively supervise a multi-disciplinary team
  • Well-developed communication skills with an ability to nurture a collegial work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and remain patient-focused and team-centred under pressure

Selection Criteria Essential: Extensive (2+ years) medical and surgical nursing knowledge.
