We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses to join our Cooinda Mental Health unit team. The unit has a number of credentialed Consultant Psychiatrists able to provide specialist assessment and treatment who are supported by a team of specialist mental health clinicians located within Cooinda Mental Health Service. The team consists of a Registrar in Psychiatry, Mental Health Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist and a 24-hour medical service.
Ideally, the successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:
Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with current Australian Health Professional Registration Agency (AHPRA) registration;
Demonstrated recent experience within the specialised setting of mental health;
Relevant post registration qualifications and/or credentialing with ACMHN;
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills;
- Be able to demonstrate evidence of recovery oriented principles in nursing practice;
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of clinical skills in assessment, formulation, treatment and therapeutic intervention.
