With 524 beds, The Wesley Hospital provides tertiary level medical and surgical services across 30 specialty areas including cardiology, urology, neurosurgery, gastroenterology, orthopaedics, maternity and women’s health. These services are supported by an intensive care unit, coronary care unit, cardiac catheter theatres, 24-hour emergency centre, renal dialysis, radiology, radiation therapy, pathology, pharmacy services, IVF, haematology and oncology services.
Our Opportunity:
Our Paediatric unit currently has several openings available for Paediatric Registered Nurses to join their team.
Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of safe, holistic nursing care to patients and their families. Demonstrate your professional experience and play a leading role in providing outstanding patient-centred care.
Ideally, you will demonstrate the following criteria:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA);
- Minimum 2+ years experience as a Registered Nursed within a Paediatrics environment
- Completion of relevant qualification ie. Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing degree from a recognised VET or tertiary institution;
- The ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team;
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills; effective communication and time management skills;
- Commitment to upholding the values and mission of Uniting Care Health.
