Position Summary

We’re seeking experienced Oncology Registered Nurses or Registered Nurses wanting to be upskilled to join our Oncology Ward at St Stephen's Hospital.

 

Remuneration Value: $36.31 - $ 46.67 p/h + Super + $15,900 NFP Salary Packaging Value + Shift Penalties/Allowances + Free Staff Parking

The Role:

 

As part of the Forbes Oncology ward, you will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills. You’ll demonstrate:

  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience in an acute care/hospital setting
  • Previous chemotherapy experience (desirable only)
  • Up-to-date Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course (ADAC) certificates (desirable only) 
  • Bachelor of nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality improvements
  • Desire for ongoing professional development
  • Availability to work across a fortnightly rotating roster
