The Wesley Breast Clinic is a multidisciplinary facility which provides both screening and diagnostic services for breast disorders using state of the art mammography machines including tomosynthesis.  The clinic performs mammography, ultrasound and interventional procedures including FNAs, core biopsies, vacuum assisted biopsies and hookwire localisations.

We have an exciting position for a Radiographer/ Sonographer with experience in the field of breast diagnosis or looking to develop their interest in this area. Training will be provided as necessary for the successful applicant. The successful applicant will become members of a highly skilled dedicated team which provides a tertiary level service in breast imaging and the opportunity to participate in interventional procedures.

Ideally, the successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria: 

• Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with AHPRA
• Possession of a Radiation Use licence from QLD Health.
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications acceptable for membership with the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
• Possession of or be eligible to apply for a Certificate of Clinical Proficiency in Mammography within twelve months from the ASMIRT
• Demonstrated experience in the field of breast diagnosis
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
• For sonographers – accreditation with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry

Remuneration value: Level 4 Position, $54.57-$59.11 p/h (FTE $107, 771 - $116, 801), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging

This is a permanent part time opportunity, working a base of 48 hours p/fortnight.
