Position Summary

We currently have multiple opportunities for CSSD Technician's to join our CSSD team. These roles will be responsible for the reprocessing and sterilisation of surgical instruments and equipment to the Operating Theatres and clinical areas within the Hospital.  These positions would suit both experienced CSSD Technicians as well as those studying a health-related discipline at a tertiary level.

 

We are offering Permanent Full Time, Part Time and Casual Opportunities, based at our facility in Auchenflower.

 

We offer an hourly rate between $25.94 – $27.89 p/hour + Superannuation commensurate with your experience. We also offer competitive not-for-profit salary packaging, designed to increase your take-home pay. Employees are eligible to apply for discounted car-parking, while the hospital is centrally located a short walk from Auchenflower station and other modes of public transport.

 

Ideally, the successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:

  • Certificate III in Sterilisation or the ability to work towards
  • Ability to work a rotating roster
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required
