About the Role:

As the Acting Clinical Nurse for Cardiology, you will be accountable for the provision of safe, holistic nursing care to individuals and their families. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating effectively to deliver exceptional person-centred care as well as provide mentorship and support to RN’s, EN’s and AIN’s on the ward.

You’ll demonstrate a commitment to person-centred care through exceptional communication, customer service skills and an ability to work effectively within a team.

You’ll present with:

• Minimum 2+ years post graduate experience in a similar setting/ward
• Current AHPRA Registration and Bachelor of Nursing
• Ability to work flexible 24/7 rotating roster
• Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to recognise and respond to clinical deterioration
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to other Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing
