About Us:
As Australia’s first fully digital hospital, St Stephen’s gives the Wide Bay community access to one of the country’s most advanced healthcare facilities. An innovative non-for-profit regional hospital, we’re small enough to provide individualised care, but large enough to cover a majority of health needs – offering access to the best specialists with minimal waiting.
As a registered charity and not-for-profit facility, we’re committed to re-investing surplus funds for the development of the hospital, its services and its employees. This benefits the community by creating facilities that utilise leading edge technology, staffed by leaders in their field and allows us to provide a comprehensive range of inpatient medical services, as well day surgery. In the midst of this state-of-the-art facility, it’s our commitment to person-centred care that truly sets us apart.
Together with The Wesley Hospital, St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital and Buderim Private Hospital, we form one of the largest not-for-profit private hospital groups in QLD and are proudly part of UnitingCare QLD.
