Position Summary

We currently have the opportunity for an experienced Orderly to join the team at St Stephens Hospital as an Orderly Team Leader.


Your Role:


Working closely with our Theatre, Surgical, Medical and Rehab teams, this role is responsible for coordinating the Orderly staff to ensure efficient and effective support is available to our wards.


This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in organisation, time management and team leading whilst continuing to fine tune your Orderly responsibilities.


This is a permanent part time opportunity, working a base roster of 30 hours p/week. As a Level 2 Support Services role, we offer $25.94-$27.89 p/hour + Super commensurate with your experience. Your Background:


As an experienced Orderly with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience, you will demonstrate an aptitude for management through well-developed communication and people leaderships skills.


You’ll show commitment to exceptional customer service through living our values, and demonstrate:


  • Cert III Support Services or Health Assistance
  • Previous team leadership experience (preferred)
  • Ability to prioritise your workload through time-management
  • Ability to provide training and perform competency assessments
  • Capability to lead and motivate team
