The Wesley Hospital is currently seeking Relief Lodge Managers to join our Accommodation Services Team in locations around Inner North Brisbane.

About the Role:

Wesley Accommodation Services are currently seeking to appoint casual Relief Lodge Managers to work across their three locations around the Brisbane inner north suburbs. Ideally suited to a joint/shared arrangement (couples, retirees etc) Relief Lodge Managers are responsible for relieving the full time accommodation services manager multiple times throughout the months, on a 24 hour basis.  Additionally, you ensure the provision of quality motel style accommodation to patients, relations, and members of the public, as part of The Wesley Hospitals wider support services.

 

You’ll provide an exceptional level of customer service and empathy when interacting with guests and their loved ones who are often undergoing treatment or procedural services at The Wesley Hospital.

 

As a Relief Lodge Manager, you will:

  • Maintain a standardised accommodation booking system to ensure maximum occupancy
  • Work in conjunction with Engineering to ensure buildings, equipment and grounds are maintained
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to visitors and patients of The Wesley Hospital and other UnitingCare services
  • Work collaboratively with other Relief Managers and Site Mangers to proactively resolve issues

You’ll demonstrate:

  • Excellent customer service skills with an ability to interact empathetically
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative approach to team work with others in accommodation services and engineering
  • Previous experience in a similar management role, preferably in a similar lodging style arrangement, motor inn, or small accommodation venue
  • Commitment to maintaining quality standards and continuous improvement
  • Availability to work 24 hour roster
