Position Summary

St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital is a 250 bed facility in Spring Hill. Facilities at St Andrew’s include 15 theatres, three cardiology catheter laboratories, endoscopy suites, an intensive care unit and emergency centre. St Andrew’s is a world leader in patient outcomes for many of our specialties. We achieve this by attracting the best staff and medical practitioners and carefully auditing and improving on the outcomes of our treatments.

 

The Allied Health Team at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital are currently seeking several experienced Physiotherapists to join our team in a casual basis.

 

Working within the large multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills, while building valuable experience within a highly diverse acute setting. Through delivering our patients a wide range of specialist services, we offer a rare opportunity to work with a diverse patient case load alongside some of the best leading practitioners on the country.  

 

If successful you will present with: 

  • Tertiary Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution
  • Current unconditional registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience within an acute setting
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a higher level of clinical reasoning and decision making based on current best practice
  •  Exceptional interpersonal communication skills including relationship management and interdisciplinary team work
  • Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety and clinical risk management requirements

Ideally will have experience across the areas of Orthopaedics, Medical, Surgical and Inpatient Rehabilitation
