Position Summary

The Patient Administration team is currently seeking applications from experienced Receptionists to join their friendly team on a casual basis. The role will be responsible for the provision of quality service to stakeholders, patients and visitors.

 

Ideally, the successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria: 

  • Demonstrated experience working with medical terminology, at an advanced level essential, a Certificate in Medical Terminology, preferable;
  • Flexible availability;
  • Understanding and ability to work in a highly confidential environment;
  • Proven sound level interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the ability to liaise with a wide range of health professionals, patients and visitors;
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment and to meet deadlines;
  • Sound interpersonal skills displaying self motivation and commitment to own personal and professional development;
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills;
  • Ability to multitask and work unsupervised, quickly and efficiently;
  • Previous hospital experience, preferable.
