Position Summary

Employment Status – Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Casual

Location – Surgical Unit, St Stephens Hospital

Classification – Registered Nurse – Level 1

Remuneration Value: Level 1 position, $33.72-$43.34 p/h (FTE $66, 630 - $85, 639), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.

 

 

Due to an increase in patient numbers, St Stephens are inviting experienced Surgical Nurses join their unit!

You will provide safe, holistic nursing care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You will work collaboratively alongside a multi-disciplinary team, supporting one another to deliver patient-focused care. You’ll demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and an ability to manage conflicting priorities. You’ll present with:

  • Minimum 2+ years postgraduate Acute Surgical
  • Sound clinical problems solving skills with ability to work independently
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Ability to work full, flexible rotating roster
  • Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration
