Level 3 Clinical Support Educator

Fixed Term (up to 3 months)

Part-time (8 hours/week)

Expressions of interest are invited from highly motivated and committed Registered or Clinical Nurses for appointment to the position of Clinical Support Educator. This is a job share position working with the Clinical Education Team.

The key responsibility of this position is to provide support to novice nurses to further develop their skills.  The position includes developing and coordinating the graduate nurse and midwifery programs and recruiting and on-boarding graduate staff.

The successful applicant will meet the essential following criteria:

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration;
• Bachelor of Nursing and or relevant post graduate qualifications;
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is preferred but not essential;
• Proven leadership with mentorship skills for new staff and students;
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and to work unsupervised;
• Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication and leadership skills;
• Demonstrated computer and digital literacy skills.
