Position Summary

Areas of speciality available for  graduate rotations include: Orthopaedics; Women’s Health, midwifery, vascular, plastics; Cardiology; Neuroscience;  General Surgical, Oncology, Palliative Care, Rehabilitation and Acute Medical, Urology; Respiratory; Coronary Care and Dialysis (2nd rotation only); Theatre – Scrub/Scout .

The Wesley Hospital mid-year Graduate Registered Nurse Program commences Monday 21st August 2017. To be eligible for this program you must be registered with AHPRA before August 2017 and be either an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, or New Zealand passport holder.

Essential: This position works on a rotational roster, which includes night shifts, weekends, public holidays, and on call rosters for Theatre staff. Do you agree to the terms of the rotational roster?
Essential: Are you able to work the hours required for the program? The Wesley Hospital Graduate program is full-time (76 hours per fortnight).
Essential: Are you currently employed by a UnitingCare Health hospital?
Essential: Have you completed a clinical placement with a UnitingCare Health hospital? If yes, please indicate which hospital and dates. (Please note, completing a Clinical Placement with a UCH hospital is NOT an essential requirement for consideration to the UCH Graduate Program).
Essential: Please list your clinical placements chronologically. Please indicate: 1. Facility Name, 2. Specialty and duration of placement.
