Internal Expression of Interest: Hospital Nurse Manager

• RN Level 3 Position

Your part in The Wesley Hospital's team

You will provide managerial support across all hospital departments and play a key role in overseeing the clinical management of patients, including managing after hour’s bed movements & patient admission. You will lead the hospital by example, in achieving service excellence, acting where necessary as a resource for quality assurance and improvements.

You will be actively involved in staff management throughout the hospital, ensuring units and wards are adequately resourced, reallocating staff to meet clinical and departmental needs. You will work collaboratively with other managers in enabling the Wesley to deliver exceptional person-centred care through a commitment to values-based service.

Essential

• Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration.
• Clinical experience in an acute setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work with employees at all levels in a coaching capacity.
• Demonstrated understanding of risk management principles.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to problem solve with customers cross functionally to promote positive relations.
• Demonstrated high level of written, reporting, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Desirable:

• Critical Care experience.
• Post-registration qualifications relevant to the area of nursing practice.
