St Stephen's Hospital in Hervey Bay is Australia's first fully integrated digital hospital. With 96 patient beds, the state-of-the-art ‘hospital of the future’ provides vital medical and surgical services to the Fraser Coast and is the first hospital in Australia to showcase the future of how technology can transform the healthcare experience. As a registered charity and not-for-profit facility, St Stephen’s is committed to re-investing surplus funds for the development of the hospital, its services and its employees.
We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager who will provide high-level clinical expertise and leadership to the Surgical team.
To be considered for this opportunity you will have the following:
- Extensive post-registration experience and clinical competence within a Surgical environment (Orthopaedic, General, Plastics, Vascular, Gynaecology and Urology);
- Recent experience in a leadership or management capacity;
- Demonstrated ability to meet key performance indicators (including budget requirements);
- Well developed communication skills, be team focused and able to nurture a collegial work environment;
- Demonstrate an ability to coordinate and provide leadership in the provision of nursing care;
- Be innovative and keen to support staff and unit development;
- Have exceptional time management skills.
