St Andrews War Memorial Hospital Cardiac Cath lab is a territory referral site for complex cardiovascular and has an established endovascular Structural heart program.

 

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse with 2+ years acute care nursing experience to join our team in a Permanent Part Time or Permanent Full Time opportunity with the cardiac catheter theatres and vascular hybrid theatres.

 

Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of safe, holistic nursing care to patients and their families. Demonstrate your professional experience and play a leading role in providing outstanding patient-centred with the renowned Cardiac team at St Andrews.

 

Ideally, you will demonstrate:  

  • 2+ years knowledge and experience within a cardiology/emergency/intensive care  environment
  • Completion of relevant qualification ie Bachelor of Nursing degree from recognised tertiary institute
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Advanced clinical assessment and application skills
  • Demonstrated clinical problem-solving skills;
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team; 
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
