St Andrews War Memorial Hospital is currently inviting applications for a 6 month contract as Acting Clinical Nurse Manager for their Cardiology Ward.

The Role:

As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide advanced management, professional leadership and operational direction for the Cardiology Ward. You will ensure exceptional delivery of patient-centred care, through high quality clinical service outcomes.

 

This is a full-time 6 month contract; however we are also open to considering part-time hours.

 

As an experienced Clinician, you will demonstrate passion for the provision of exceptional patient centred care and present with:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Cardiology/CCU
  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree with current unconditional AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, support and mentorship to Clinical Nurses, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and AIN’s
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within a multidisciplinary team, patients and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and participation in quality improvement projects

Selection Criteria Essential: 5 years experience in Cardiology/CCU
