Our Opportunity:


We are currently accepting applications for the role of Director of Clinical Education at The Wesley Hospital.


We are offering this opportunity as a full time position working 38 hours p/week. This role will be based at The Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower.


Your Role:


This role will see you provide strategic and operational direction for Clinical Education at The Wesley Hospital through your effective leadership, the sound management of resources and a commitment to best practice care delivery. 


A diverse role, you will drive the delivery of innovative, industry relevant education at The Wesley to ensure an ongoing commitment to person-centred quality care. You will achieve this through the effective leadership of your team, and the development of comprehensive education tools and resources.


Further, you will foster collaborative relationships internally and externally including tertiary and vocational institutions, clinical practitioners and the senior leadership team.


About You:


You will be a well-rounded nursing professional with a broad scope of clinical, education and leadership experience. As a values-driven individual, you have experience in leading a diverse team of professionals to success through a collaborative and supportive approach.


Your developed communication skills equip you to work well with a diverse stakeholder group, including the ability to manage expectations and outcomes at various levels of senior management. 


You will have a recognised ability to work within a variety of regulations and guidelines to achieve strategic objectives, including capability framework, budgets and governance.
