St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital is a 250 bed facility in Spring Hill. Facilities at St Andrew’s include 15 theatres, three cardiology catheter laboratories, endoscopy suites, an intensive care unit and emergency centre. St Andrew’s is a world leader in patient outcomes for many of our specialties. We achieve this by attracting the best staff and medical practitioners and carefully auditing and improving on the outcomes of our treatments.


The Emergency Centre is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join their team in a Permanent Part-Time capacity.  As a Registered Nurse you will be accountable for:

  • Delivery of safe, holistic nursing care to patients and their families
  • Applying clinical practice which ensures a safe environment and promotes optimal patient outcomes;
  • Effectively communicating information regarding patient responses and care to the nursing team;
  • Utilising customer service principles to exceed patient expectations
  • Applying principles of clinical and workplace risk management

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Minimum of 2 years post registration experience in an Emergency setting
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated ability to provide patient and family centred care using best practice
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team with effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Commitment to professional development
