- Remuneration Value: $24.43 - $26.22 p/hour (FTE $48, 273 - $51, 810)
- 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging
St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital currently have opportunities for those working towards their Assistant in Nursing certification to join our Theatre team in an Operating Theatre Set-Up role!
About the Role:
You will be responsible for the preparation of all consumables such as sterile supplies, sutures, and instruments according to surgeon preferences in preparation for surgical procedures. Prioritising list set ups to ensure completion according to commencement times and providing feedback to your Manager and Clinical Nurses where shortages in supplies have been identified.
You will demonstrate:
- Some knowledge of working in a peri-operative environment – desirable
- Previous knowledge of supply practices or experience in a similar role - desirable
- Willing to take direction under the supervision of Enrolled and Registered Nurses
- Ability to work a flexible roster
This is a great role for those working towards an Assistant in Nursing position. You will be able to gain valuable hands on skills and experience with the opportunity to develop into an AIN role once qualified!
