Our Cooinda Mental Health Unit is currently seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join its team in a Permanent Part Time capacity. This award-winning, 33 bed, state-of-the-art acute support service is renowned for its commitment to patient care and the diversity of its programs.  

 

As a Clinical Nurse you will provide exceptional patient care in the areas of your clinical expertise whilst assessing and responding appropriately to clinical nursing issues and concerns. You will commit to achieving optimal patient outcomes through the use of effective clinical knowledge and apply clinical practice that ensures and promotes a safe environment for optimal patient health.

 

Based on your experience, you will assisting with providing supervision and guidance within a multi-disciplinary team, through effective decision making and support.

 

In applying, you will demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 2 years within an acute setting
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience with ability to coordinate provision of nursing care
  • Sound ability to manage competing priorities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development with post graduate qualification (or working towards)
