Remuneration Value: $55.49 - $62.38 p/h (FTE $109, 648 - $123, 262), 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging benefit + cumulative study leave.
St Andrews War Memorial Hospital is currently inviting applications for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager for a Permanent Full Time position in their Surgical Ward.

The Role:
As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will provide advanced management, professional leadership and operational direction for the Surgical Ward. You will ensure exceptional delivery of patient-centred care, through high quality clinical service outcomes.
As an experienced Clinician, you will demonstrate passion for the provision of exceptional patient centred care and present with:
- 5 years minimum experience within acute surgical nursing
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree with current unconditional AHPRA registration
- Proven ability to achieve optimal patient outcomes and objectives through effective leadership and direction
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within the multidisciplinary team, patients and other stakeholders
- Strong commitment to your own professional development and the development of others
- Proven ability to lead a team
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and participation in quality improvement projects and current knowledge of the NSQHS 2nd Edition Standards
- Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills / Ability to use negotiation skills to manage conflict within the work environment
- Recent experience with human and financial resource management
