The Wesley has one of the largest facilities in Australia, and has sub-specialty interests in all areas of gastroenterology, working with some of the latest endoscopic equipment for all forms of endoscopy. Services include ‘routine’ day patient and in-patient diagnostic and treatment, gastroscopy and colonoscopy as well as many challenging interventional procedures such as luminal and biliary stent placement, ERCP and EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), capsule endoscopy and balloon enteroscopy. 

In 2010, the Wesley launched a new state-of-the-art Endoscopy Unit with four fully integrated procedure rooms, including electronic reporting systems and image capture devices.

Your Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our Endoscopy Unit in a new opportunity at The Wesley

You will be accountable for the provision of safe, holistic nursing care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating effectively to deliver exceptional person-centred care.

This would be a 12 month fixed term full time opportunity, working 76 hours p/fortnight. 

Your Background:

You’ll demonstrate a commitment to person-centred care through exceptional communication, customer service skills and an ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll present with:

• Minimum 12 months EN experience, preferably within endoscopy
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Ability to work flexible rotating roster
• Full Australian Working Entitlements

As a Enrolled Nurse, we offer $29 - $32.47 p/hour + Super commensurate with your experience. As a not-for-profit hospital, we also offer access to competitive salary-packaging options. Discounted parking is also available on site.
