Your Role:

 

As part of our commitment to clinical and service excellence, we are pleased to invite applications for the newly established role of Service Improvement Manager.

 

Responsible for supporting, the effective leadership, governance and operation of the Wesley, you will proactively seek to improve healthcare delivery through your experience in consultation and system redesign, ensuring a streamlined journey for our patients.

 

You will collaborate effectively with hospital leadership teams and partner closely with our executives -supporting their strategic and organisational objectives and goals, through embedding our values and integrating our commitment to customer experience, safety and quality improvements.

 

Your Background

 

As a professional widely experienced in service improvement and change delivery, you are a highly capable communicator, with effective skills building productive and collaborative relationships across all levels of an organisation – including at Executive and Senior Leadership level.

 

Your track record in service improvement combined with your effective interpersonal skills enable you to establish credibility quickly; while your knowledge of hospital and health services has equipped with you sound understanding of the challenges and priorities of contemporary health care provision.

 

Your knowledge of project management has provided you with a solid foundation in change management and improvement implementation, as well as highly developed reporting skills.

 

Further, you present with

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a health-related field (or equivalent practical experience) and project management and / or
  • Post graduate qualifications in clinical practice or service improvement (desirable)
  • Knowledge of clinical redesign and familiarity with improvement methodologies that can be used to implement change (desirable)
  • Experience in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and an ability to critically review material to inform decision making
