What We're Offering: 


We are currently seeking applications for the position of Patient Services Officer with our Allied Health Team. This opportunity is being offered as a Part Time, Fixed Term 12 Month contract.

 

The position reports to the Team Leader, Outpatient Services and is responsible for providing high quality practice management and reception services, the management of patient accounts and related financial management.  You will also provide high level administration support to the Allied Health Metro team and Visiting Medical Practitioners.

 

To perform the duties of this role you will have:

  • Certificate III in Business or Practice Management equivalent;
  • Proven experience in front of house medical practice management and reception duties including patient enquiries;
  • Excellent, customer service, interpersonal, time management, verbal and written communication skills;
  • Knowledge and understanding of Medical Terminology;
  • Demonstrated computer literacy in Microsoft Applications, SAP and other financial and practice management systems;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
