St Stephens Hospital is inviting applications from experienced Clinical Nurse Managers to apply for a permanent full-time position within their Theatres.

About the Role:

The Clinical Nurse Manager for Perioperative Services is responsible for overall management of the department including staffing and clinical service delivery. It will effectively apply principles of management to achieve departmental, hospital and organisation-wide goals, always ensuring optimal patient outcomes through an advanced standard of nursing care.

The successful applicant will present with:

  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree or Equivalent
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Has or is working towards Post Graduate Qualifications in Preoperative Services or Health Management
  • Previous Management Experience
  • 7 + years of experience working in Operating Theatres
  • 5 years experience as a Clinical Nurse or Equivalent

Selection Criteria Essential: Previous management experience
Essential: Minimum of 7 years experience in an operating theatre
Essential: 5 years experience as a Clinical Nurse or equivalent
Essential: Has or is working towards Post Graduate Qualification in Perioperative Services or Health Management
Essential: Do you have unlimited working entitlements in Australia as an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or New Zealand Passport Holder?
Not Essential: Please confirm your base salary / hourly rate expectations, excluding superannuation and salary packaging benefits.
